YSI ProODO Handheld Optical Dissolved Oxygen Meter

                    

Rugged and reliable, this meter uses an ODO (Optical Dissolved Oxygen) luminescent sensor that eliminates both the need for stirring and frequent membrane changes. Because the sensor has no flow dependence, it is ideal for deep water profiling where stirring is either difficult or undesirable. In addition, the lack of flow dependence reduces the possibility of operator error and ensures high quality data. The ProODO features a DO range of 0 to 500% and includes a barometer for continual compensation. The ”smart” digital sensor technology stores calibration data within the sensor, allowing probes to be placed on any ProODO instrument without calibration. The meter’s advanced technology reduces the time and expense related to calibrating and maintaining sensors. Depending on usage, calibrations can be stable for up to one year, and there are no electrodes to clean or solutions to change. The meter stores 2,000 data sets (sensor data, date, time, site, and user-defined information), and managing the data is easy using the included Data Manager software. The ProODO features a backlit display and keypad and is housed in an impact-resistant, IP-67 waterproof case. Three-year warranty on the instrument and two-year warranty on the cable and probe from the manufacturer.
